Clinics and Services

We offer a range of clinics and services including those below. For more information, please visit our Health Review and Assessment Clinic Room.

If you would like to attend any of the below clinics, please visit our Consulting Room.

Antenatal

The midwives run this clinic. If you become pregnant, you will be given a ‘booking appointment’ at which the midwife will ask you a few questions and carry out some general health checks. You will be seen regularly throughout your pregnancy either at the practice, the local hospital, or both.

Child health and immunisation

All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from eight weeks old.

Minor surgery

Minor operations can be done in our treatment room. Please discuss this with your doctor who will then arrange for you to be given an appointment.

Diabetes

This clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes. By appointment only.

Asthma

Asthma sufferers need to make an appointment to attend the clinic. If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please complete an Asthma Review form.

Stopping smoking

Our healthcare assistant is trained to give advice and support to patients trying to give up smoking. Leaflets are available from reception.

We offer regular smoking cessation appointments. If you have been advised by the surgery to submit a smoking review on a regular basis, please complete a Smoking Review form. Alternatively, please see reception for details.
